IS THIS FOR YOU?
Who the assessment is for
Owners and leaders of service businesses from £300k revenue upwards who recognise at least one of these.
Prices haven’t moved in years
You suspect you should be charging more, but you’re not sure how to justify it or how clients would react.
Hard to explain why you’re different
Your work is better than the competition’s, but on paper your offer looks much like everyone else’s.
Working harder for the same profit
Revenue has grown or held steady, but profit hasn’t followed, and the hours keep going up.
Compared on price too often
Prospects line you up against cheaper quotes, and closing a deal usually means offering a discount.
CLIENT FEEDBACK
What clients say
Victoria Sedgley, Netserve
Kyle Sharland, Oh-Tech
“We were competing in a commoditised market where we found ourselves racing to the bottom on projects. Justin’s guidance and support uncovered various opportunities that meant we now compete in a market of one and set our own prices. His insight has been invaluable, highly recommend.”

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Six outputs you can act on
Each one is built around your business, so you finish with decisions and a plan rather than a report that sits in a drawer.

Your business scored from 0 to 5 across ten dimensions, with the specific gaps holding back your pricing and growth.
Financial impact analysis
Conservative, moderate and ambitious projections of what the recommended changes could add to your revenue and profit.

How to structure your prices, how much to increase and where, how to tell clients, and how to review prices every year.
Client acquisition plan
How to win the clients you want beyond referrals: which channels to focus on, what to say, and how to qualify leads.
90-day roadmap
A prioritised plan of quick wins, medium-term changes and bigger projects, so you know what to do first and in what order.

HOW IT WORKS
Four steps over two to three weeks
Most of the work happens on my side, so the demand on your time stays manageable.
01
Preparation
You share some background: recent proposals, your pricing, your client list, and your view of which work is profitable and which isn’t.
02
Discovery sessions
Two or three remote calls to work through the ten dimensions, with time between sessions for me to analyse what you’ve shared.
03
Analysis
I review your business, your competitors and your market position, then build the financial projections and recommendations.
04
Workshop and report
A three to four hour workshop where I take you through the scores and recommendations, followed by the full written report and roadmap.

FAQS
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from general business consulting?
The assessment is built for service businesses whose pricing and positioning don’t reflect the value they deliver. Rather than broad strategy, it focuses on what lets you charge properly for your work: your positioning, how you communicate value, how you win clients and how efficiently you deliver.
What if I’m worried about losing clients when I raise prices?
That’s the most common concern, and it’s why the assessment looks at positioning and value before pricing. The aim isn’t simply to charge more. It’s to build the proposition and client communications that make a higher price make sense to your clients.
Is my business the right size?
The assessment suits service businesses from around £300k revenue, with no upper limit. I work with owner-led businesses and with firms of £20m and above, and the scope and fee scale with the size and complexity of the business.
What happens after the assessment?
You leave with a clear roadmap, and what you do with it is up to you. Some clients implement it themselves. Others ask me to help through the Value Transformation Programme, where we build the pricing, proposals and client communications together. There’s no obligation either way.
How quickly will I see results?
It depends on how quickly you act on the roadmap. Quick wins, such as tightening how you qualify leads or changing how you talk about price, can show results within weeks. A price increase across an existing client base usually takes two to three months to roll out properly.
What information will I need to provide?
After you book, I’ll send a request covering your pricing, recent proposals, client list, financial performance and services. It doesn’t need to be in perfect order. Spotting the information you’re missing is part of the assessment.
Does this work in my sector?
The framework applies to most service businesses. I’ve worked with MSPs and IT providers, professional services firms, agencies, certification bodies and consultancies.
Is the assessment right for your business?
Book a 30-minute discovery call. We’ll talk through where your business is now, and by the end of the call you’ll know whether the assessment is the right next step.
No obligation. If it’s not the right fit, I’ll tell you and point you somewhere more useful.
